CONDITIONS OF HIRE
WINGSTONE COTTAGE is hired strictly on the basis that
the accommodation is for holiday use only and that no right to remain in the
accommodation exists for the Hirer or for any person allowed onto the property
by him/her. The number of people occupying the cottage is limited to 5.
No contract should exist until the signed booking form
and a deposit of 10% of the total for each week of hire has been received. Cheques should be made payable to MRS
J.M.RICH.
Telephone/E-mail reservations will be held for up to
seven days pending receipt of the booking form and deposit.
The full
balance of the hire charge is to be paid not later than four weeks before
arrival date, unless otherwise agreed.
Lettings are on a weekly basis, unless otherwise

In the event of a Cancellation the Hirer must advise
me immediately whereupon I will, without prejudice to my right to the balance
in full, use my best endeavours to re-let. However any booking deposit paid
will not be refunded. If the
cancellation is within 6 weeks of the start of the letting you may be
liable for the full rental unless I have been able to re-let or we have come to
an agreement.
To avoid any cancellation losses, Hirers are strongly
advised to take out a Holiday Insurance Cover.
In the event of the Cottage not being available for
occupation e.g. storm, fire, vandalism etc I will refund you in full or try and
make alternative arrangements. This is the limit of liability that I accept.
The Hirer is expected to leave the Cottage as found on
arrival and to either replace any losses or breakages with items of an agreed
value or pay the full cost of replacement. The Hirer is liable for the cost of
any damage to the property.
Heating is provided through storage heaters on Economy
7 as is a tank of hot water. There after the electricity is on a £1.00 coin metered
system.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
Dogs and horses are allowed on the premises at an
additional charge providing they have been detailed on the booking form in
advance. All fouling of animals should be clear up and disposed of as directed.
Pet dogs should not be allowed onto the furniture and should not be left in the property
without adult supervision.
Exclusion Clause Mrs Juliette Rich being the owner of the
property does not accept liability to
any person included in the holiday booking for any Personal injury, loss or
damage to either themselves or their property however caused, nor for the theft
of their property or money whilst their stay at the cottage. Please note that
this is a working farm environment and as such children should be guided not to
touch or climb on any equipment unless agreed to by Mrs Rich and the children’s
Parents.
